Camberwell Floorworld team Launch Local Food Drive to Support Victorian Families This Winter
This June, the team at Camberwell Floorworld including; Owner, Adam McAuliffe, Manager, Dean Roberts and brothers Harry and Tom McAuliffe are calling on the Camberwell community to help them fill the back of their Floorworld Ute with food donations for families in need.
The initiative, “Fill the Camberwell Floorworld Ute for Foodbank,” will run for the entire month of June, collecting non-perishable food items and household essentials at the family-run business, Camberwell Floorworld, located at 379 Camberwell Road.
The McAuliffe brothers—graduates of Xavier College in 2022 and 2024 respectively—are now the third generation to work in the family flooring business owned by their father Adam McAuliffe. Together with their mum, Jo, who leads the store’s marketing, the family is using their platform to give back.
“Every week we see, read and watch how tough things are getting for families, especially in winter,” says Harry.
We just wanted to do something simple that could help. If everyone drops in just a few items, it can really add up.”
The whole team are encouraging not just customers, but friends, families, local businesses, and fellow mates to bring in donations. “We’d love to see as many people as possible pop in, say hello, and drop something in the ute,” says Tom.
“It’s a small gesture that can make a big impact.”
How It Works:
The branded Floorworld Ute will be parked out the back of the shop so we don’t get a parking fine!
Locals are encouraged to pop into the shop and drop off non-perishable groceries or basic household items—big or small to load into the ute!
Donations will be delivered to Foodbank Victoria every Friday for the month of June.
Recommended donations include:
🥫 Canned foods | 🍝 Pasta and rice | 🍼 Baby formula | 🧼 Toiletries | 🥣 Breakfast items
